Greetings, fellow shippers! I've come with an important announcement. Although it may upset some of you, but just hear me out.
It will now be possible to be removed from the S.S. Ships Author List due to inactivity
I'm sure that we've all seen those people who are active at SJ for a while and disappear. This system will be here to limit the amount of inactive authors here. And with 30 authors and counting, it would be nice to not have half of our authors be inactive people (not that I'm saying that is currently the case ^^")
Here is how it will work
If a user is inactive at S.S. Ships for at least 6 months, they will be removed from the authors list
"Active" means either posting a ship or a comment. So if you would rather comment instead of ship, then that is completely fine.
Don't worry about these new rules too much though. As long as you are active on SJ and SSS, you shouldn't have to worry about this. Plus, one month before you are eligible for being removed, a PM will be sent as a warning and as a reminder. This will give you plenty of time.
If you do get removed from the authors list because of inactivity and wish to return, feel free! Just send in another application, and we shall accept it.
Now, I'm aware that we have a unique case with BowTheSylveon. Since her account was banned at SJ for being underage, she comments as a guest. As long as she continues to comment at SSS as a guest at least once every six months, her account will not be removed. That way, it might be waiting here for her once she turns 13.
...And that's all! Happy shipping!
